2. 当表示地点的介宾短语放于一个简单句句首时
A big tree stands in front of the old house.
＝In front of the old house stands a big tree.
Many trees stand along the river.
＝Along the river stand many trees.
I used to live in the house,in front of which stands a big tree.
3.done/doing sth 放于句首时，
Many students are sitting in the hall.
＝Sitting in the hall are many students.
The days are gone.
=Gone are the days.
二.部分倒装（疑问句语序）
1. 当否定和半否定词放于一个简单句的句首时，该简单句部分倒装；
No,not,never,no longer,no more,neither,none,nor,nowhere
By no means,in no way,in no case,under no circumstance,at no time,in no time
The police can nowhere find the missing boy.
=Nowhere can the police find the missing boy.
